Our medical weight loss program uses prescription GLP-1 medications, when medically appropriate, alongside regular monitoring and support.

Semaglutide

Semaglutide mimics GLP-1, a natural hormone that helps regulate appetite. It helps you feel full sooner, reduces hunger and slows digestion. It is given as a once weekly injection. In clinical trials, many people lost about 15% of their body weight over 68 weeks.

Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide acts on both GLP-1 and GIP receptors, so it may be even more effective at reducing hunger. It is also a once weekly injection. In clinical trials, some participants lost more than 20% of their body weight.

Who it is for

Both medications are used for adults with obesity (BMI of 30 or more), or who are overweight (BMI of 27 or more) with a weight related condition such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes.

What to know

  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea can occur, especially at first, and usually improve over time
  • We monitor your progress and any side effects throughout your program
  • The best results come with healthy eating and regular activity
